The Fibromyalgia Paisley and Inverclyde Network (Fibro PaIN) holds meetings in Paisley & Greenock.  The groups share support tips and what has been happening in the world of fibromyalgia as well as talking about what the group will do in coming months.  Tea, Coffee, biscuts and an understanding ear are the norm however, some months we have speakers  to give us some information on various topics related to fibromyalgia and living with a chronic health condition.

Paisley meetings take place in St Mirin's Cathedral Parish Halls at 1.00pm, and are scheduled for 2 hours, but we have the room for longer than this and people tend to stay for a bit and have a chat afterwards.

The Inverclyde group meet at Your Voice, Greenock.  The meeting runs from 11.00am-12.30pm

Evening/Social meetings are occasionally held in Canal Station Bar, Stow Brae, Paisley

Future Meetings
We will hope to have speakers on a range of subjects from benefits to tai chi, physiotherapy and holistic treatments as well as the local CVS and medical professionals. Speakers will tend to speak for between 30 - 60 mins.

Our calendar of of future meeting dates can be found here. We also have a lot of resources that can help with managing fibromyalgia and our Library will be increasing as well. Members will be able to take books and other materials on loan or purchase photocopies where relevant.

Facebook

Our Facebook page is a closed group for people who live in the Renfrewshire & Inverclyde areas only.  This allows group members to keep in touch outwith meetings, but also provides a forum for people who cannot attend the groups to chat with others in their local area.
